'Wired'Wired ManMan XXOO'
Talent Factory
‘WIRED MAN’ PHOTOS WERE TAKEN BY A SPECIFIC PROCEDURE CALLED LRD – LASER RANDOM DRAWING.
THE LRD PROCEDURE, IN ADDITION TO THE NEW INTERFERENCE BETWEEN PHOTOGRAPH AND DRAWING, REVEALS TO US THAT LIGHT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PROOF OF OUR EXISTENCE.
Otherwise, we merge with the surrounding darkness, nothing differentiates us from the darkness. No matter what, the camera records, and without light, we don’t exist.

ALL FOUR FLOORS OF THE MUSEUM HOSTED THE ‘WIRED MAN XXOO’ LAUNCH, CONSISTING OF DIFFERENT INTERACTIVE ROOMS IN WHICH GUESTS PARTICIPATED IN INSTANT CYBER ART EXPERIENCE. THE VISITORS WERE ASKED TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED, FINGERPRINTED, AND TO PROVIDE A SIGNATURE. PHOTOS: ZORAN DŽEFERDAREVIĆ DŽEF
MUSEUM RECEIVED IN JUST TWO HOURS MORE THAN 4,000 GUESTS WHO FILLED ALL 5,000 M2 SPACE. GUEST PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCES WHICH WERE ALSO AVAILABLE ONLINE.
THE “WIRED MAN” LAUNCH WAS DESIGNED TO OFFER ANOTHER VIEW ON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY. AS THE GUESTS WERE MOVING FROM ONE TO ANOTHER COMPUTER STATION, CONNECTED BY “WIRES”, THEY WERE ASKED FOR THEIR NAME, OCCUPATION, SIGNATURE, FINGERPRINT, AND TO BE PICTURED IN ORDER TO GET A “WIRED MAN OR WOMAN CERTIFICATE”, AND EXCHANGED IT FOR THE COPY OF THE CALENDAR.
The procedure was an artistic commentary on the rise of data collection in a digital society.
The WiredWired ChairChair
Interactive Performance
ONE OF THE PERFORMANCES DESIGNED FOR VISITORS WAS PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE STYLIZED “WIRED CHAIR”. BY CELEBRATED PHOTOGRAPHER NEBOJŠA BABIĆ.
A possible interpretation of this photo performance: At the start of the new millennium, the Belgrade residents may be bound to be wired, even in the bad sense.
