Serbia Re:LOADED showcases a collection of interdisciplinary projects conceived and produced by Djordje Milekić, creative director and Nada Ray, producer. 

Milekić – Ray duo formed a dynamic, multifaceted collective FIA Art Group (active 1989-2009) in Belgrade, Serbia. FIA facilitated the production of numerous culturally and socially engaging initiatives, nonprofit and branding projects in collaboration with artists, designers, photographers, and other communicators. It was a response to Serbia’s turbulent circumstances in the 1990s, the breakup of Yugoslavia, the war environment, and scarcity.

The largest in scope, with the most significant community outreach and the one that got the most notoriety, was the 15-year long project Publikum Calendars of New Art (1993-2008), published and printed by Publikum in Belgrade.

Authors statement: 

Today, almost 30 years after the launch of the first Publikum Calendar Impossible, we feel that the online re-loading of this project whose mission was to create, exchange and bridge borders can be a reminder, inspiration, and example of how art and creativity can connect people and overcome the obstacles and limitations.
